Fitness One is so amazing! It's like having a whole family who loves you and supports you in your journey. You have access to multiple amazing well trained trainers.
Fitness One has so much to offer in classes, and an awesome Martial Arts program. My son loves his little Nijas he is gaining so much from his classes.
I have been to a few gyms and I feel this is the best one in the Triad.

I have been very pleased with every aspect of this gym. From the trainers, other members and how Allen makes a point to say hello and encourage!! I tried BBC and found it didn’t suit me and especially when it came to the price of membership!! Just as many classes available and 1/2 the price...So glad to have found this treasure!!’

I absolutely love the fact that every time you go, you will always be doing a different, while very effective, workout! I get bored super easily working out - but not here! Love the variety, the instructors, and the people attending! Everyone is so supportive!!! If you are looking for a gym - give this one a try!

There isn't a better gym out there.. These guys work hard to bring us the newest most effective way to get and stay strong/fit. Fitness One is also the friendliest gym I have ever been to.

Allen is more than those- much more. He is insightful, resourceful, intuitive, energetic and optimistic. in short- a force to be reckoned with. How do I know? I have been trained and counseled by Allen for almost five years. At first I was merely interested in the physical development side of Allen but then it developed into something much deeper- something rare between modern males. Don’t misunderstand, under Allen’s tutelage I was able to earn my Black Belt in Krav but the education did not stop there. Allen has an intuitive feel for a person’s psyche and needs. You have a problem; Allen typically has a practical solution. You have an emotional set back, Allen is there to stop the slide and move you forward. You have a physical goal or even slide back, Allen is there to push you forward or to stop your slide backward. Allen has the knowledge, he has the capability and he has the wherewithal to improve almost anyone that seeks his help. Ask Allen to be your coach- both physical and lifestyle- you will be a better person in a very short period of time.

Where do I even begin...I'll start by saying I live 45 minutes from Fitness One and yet I still go there! Why? Because I've never experienced a workout like the one I get a Fitness One. I've tried several different gyms and nothing even comes close! The energy, the encouragement, the feeling you have after a work out is incredible. I've done cardio at a box gym that is closer to my house, and when I've looked at my fitness tracker, I got so frustrated because I had only burned half the calories in the same amount of time that I would at Fitness One. The kick boxing classes are a huge stress reliever for me too. In 45 minutes you burn so many calories and leave feeling like you've really accomplished something. My energy level is better, my clothes fit better, and I'm getting tone. Whatever your fitness goals are they can help you. I absolutely love this gym!

Great classes and instructors. They have a variety of classes to fit your personality and fitness goals. You will find top of the line equipment and knowledgeable staff. They offer aerobics, weight training, boxing and martial arts classes.

Omg Ashley was a great trainer I really enjoyed my first day of the 21 rapid weight loss boot camp I look forward to many more and I definitely recommend this place !! Can't want to go back it definitely kicked my butt hahaha

I have been going to Fitness One for over a month now. This is one of the best commitments I have ever made. I love the variety of classes and all the instructors. From day one I jumped right in and have felt right at home. When I first visited I met Ethan and told him I had never really participated in classes before. I could see the commitment and strong belief in him for fitness. He's one of the biggest reasons I joined. For several years I have been running and doing workouts at home. I wish I had known about Fitness One a long time ago. I am looking forward to my journey here and seeing how much I improve.

My experience at Fitness One has been amazing and it has exceeded my expectations in the 4 months I've been going there! I need something that pushes me because I won't push myself hard doing my own workout. I get excited to go to class and I'm always in a better mood after I workout! My kids also love going into child care while I workout! I am very happy I found this gym and have become a regular there!

Tim Treadaway

Tim is an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer as well as a Group Exercise Trainer. As part owner and full-time trainer, he strives to help members and their families achieve their fitness goals.

Tim was a regular Fitness One member for 7 years before having to help his family in Tennesse for 5 years. Now he is back ready to serve you! Tim has been instrumental in helping the gym navigate through the challenging times of 2000. We are very lucky to have him!

Allen Branch CPT, SCS, SNS, NASM-PES

Allen Branch is a Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist with the NASM and co-founder of Fitness One with his wife, Olinda. He is also a Sports Nutrition Specialist, Sports Conditioning Specialist and has been certified in Resistance Training Biomechanics by the World Renown Cooper Institute in Dallas. He also holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management from Villanova University. He was trained by the legendary Bruce Lee student Joe Lewis in Kickboxing, and holds Black Belts in 6 styles of martial arts, with his highest a 7th Degree. He is also the founder of American Martial Arts Systems, a hybrid martial arts system taught all over the world. He is currently planning the release of his long awaited science based training program for ages 40 and up called Project49.

Olinda Branch

BA Education, Certified Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Specialistm

Olinda has been teaching for 25 years, and is well known as one of the finest fitness instructors in the region. Olinda's classes include boot-camp, circuits, yoga, strength, Pilates, mat works and kickboxing.

Olinda is certified in teaching kickboxing, yoga, mat science, step and pilates. She has a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Kickboxing under Joe Lewis. She is the co-founder of Fitness One, and is a sought after personal trainer for her expertise in multiple disciplines. This has earned her the nickname "The Princess of Pain"

She earned a Gold Medal in the 1998 AAU Nationals in Russian Combo, and is also a certified Biggest Loser trainer.

Ashlie Reid

Ashlie has been a personal trainer and group exercise instructor at Fitness One for the last 10 years. She keeps our office in line. :)

Bonnie Longhitano

Certified Personal Trainer, ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor

Bonnie is a certified trainer with over 10 years of experience. She teaches a variety of classes including kickboxing and strength classes. You can tell she loves her Fitness One family by the variety and energy she brings to every class!

Bonnie also handles new member admissions and is available for small group classes as well as personal training.

Jennifer Bowman CPT, Group Exercise, Metabolic Effect

Jennifer is a high energy, motivating group exercise and bootcamp instructor with a passion for people! She is also certified teaching yoga and cycling. Her classes are fun, upbeat and an awesome workout.

Allison Pyrtle

Personal Trainer, Boot-camp Leader

Allison is a Group Exercise Instructor certified through AFAA, Personal Trainer and boot-camp leader. She teaches circuits, strength, Pilates based classes and yoga. She is co-founder of the SMART START program created alongside Olinda Branch to help new clients work gradually into a fitness program, learning to eat properly and learn good exercise form. She also manages the enormous Fitness One class schedules and trainers

Todd White

Martial Arts Trainer and Teacher

Todd White holds black belts in multiple martial arts including karate, hapkido and Taekwondo, in a career that has spanned over 30 years. He holds his highest as a 5th Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. Todd was a National Karate and Taekwondo competitor and is now leader of the Kids martial arts and training program at Fitness One.

Katia Yurko

Katia is a Certified Yoga Instructor completing the Charlotte yoga teacher training certification in 2011. Katia teaches a unique blend of Yoga and intervals for fat loss called Fit Flow, as well as more traditional yoga in her other classes.

Jon Phipps

Krav Maga Instructor

Jon is a Krav Maga Instructor at Fitness One with over 30 years experience teaching martial arts. He is a holder of multiple Black Belts. Jon has black belts in karate, kickboxing, hapkido, the Joe Lewis Fighting System and is the Senior student and recognized co-founder of American Martial Arts Systems.

Alex Rice

Alex is the highest ranking female black Belt in the American Martial Arts System at Fitness One, under Allen Branch. She holds Black Belts in Kickboxing and Israeli Krav Maga, and brings a fire to her classes that is fun to watch and an awesome class to take! Alex currently teaches Sport Kickboxing, Round 1 Boxing and fitness Kickboxing classes at Fitness One as a passion and a hobby!

Candi Wallace,

Candi Wallace is International Fitness Trainers of America Certified Personal/Small group Trainer since 2014. I joined Fitness One as a member around 2012 and loved it so much it awakened the passion that was within me. I trained with Fitness One part-time for about a year after obtaining my certification. In 2021 I joined the Fitness One family full time. Teaching small group, personal training and some of the larger group classes evenings and Saturday mornings is where you’ll find me. I love love love what I do and count it a blessing to be a part of the Fitness One family.

Danny Akers

Boxing Coach and Trainer

Danny Akers is a former World Boxing Champion with the IBF and WBA. Undefeated in his amateur and professional career, Danny brings a level of boxing experience to those in our boxing club that is unmatched anywhere in the Triad.

Tim Taylor Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Group Trainer, 4th Dan Black Belt

Tim is a Certified Personal Trainer with 25 years of martial arts experience in kickboxing, Taekwondo and hapkido. He has been working as a trainer at Fitness One for over 3 years in kickboxing and martial arts, and started working with group classes last year. Tim brings a level of expertise to the striking, kickboxing and cardio workouts that is hard to find from a trainer.

Jason Milam

Jason Milam is an ISSA Certified Personal trainer, and is proficient in weight training, boxing and X3.

With a background in the US Army, Jason brings a strong discipline that gets great results and keeps clients coming back for more.
